Late Night Fridays with Live Music at Sandhill Crane Vineyards.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Join us in the vineyard, on the porch, and at our family-owned winery for live music every Friday from May through October! Gus Macker Jackson.  8 AM to 9 PM.  Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball returns to Downtown Jackson this weekend.  This is the Jackson stop of the Gus Macker World Tour, a traveling 3-on-3 basketball event that brings together amateur and collegiate players from across the country.  Enjoy watching great gameplay, food trucks, exhibitions and special tournaments throughout the weekend.  All games run from 8:30 AM to 6 PM.  Today’s special event schedule:  8 AM Opening Ceremony,   12 to 1 PM Dunk Contest, 3 to 5 PM CLUBLIFE Tournament, 5 to 7:30 PM Heroes Tournament.  Enjoy Downtown Jackson’s shops, restaurants and attractions.  All activities are along Michigan Avenue, Jackson Street and Horace Blackman Park in Downtown Jackson.

Paws in the Park. 10 am to 1 pm, Cascades Park.  Presented by M&K Jetting & Television.  Join us at Cascades Falls Park in Jackson for a fun-filled, family- and dog-friendly day starting at 10:00 AM.  Highlights:  5K Run/Walk & Woof Walk – Start your morning with the 5K at 10:00 AM, followed by the Woof Walk.  Foam Party – Celebrate after the 5K.  Music – Enjoy tunes from live DJs and capture memories. Bring your dog, bring your family, and get ready for a day of activity, laughter, and fun in the sun. Jackson Breakfast Rotary Pickleball Tournament.  8 AM start, Round Robin format.  Hurst Foundation Pickleball Complex at Cascade Park.  Cash prizes for each division.  This year’s event will focus exclusively on the tournament, bringing together local and regional players for a competitive and community‑driven day on the courts. Proceeds from the tournament will support Rotary’s scholarships, youth service as well the other Rotary initiatives efforts throughout Jackson County. More information and registration here.

Guns N’ Hoses Charity Hockey Tournament.  11 AM to 1 PM.  Please join us for this charity event sponsored by local businesses and you to raise money for a family in need after a tragic fire. This is a battle of the badges style tournament between fire and law enforcement agencies in the local area. Doors open at 10:00 am. Opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 am.  $10 admission, ages 12 and under are free. There will be 50/50 raffles, and cool baskets and prizes available for auction.  In between matchups, there will be interactive games the crowd can participate in for prizes.
