Capital City Brass Band Christmas Concert.  7 PM.  The Capital City Brass Band Heralds the Holiday Season.  Bohm Theatre, Albion.  Admission $10.

Michigan History Center Mann House Holiday Open House. 6 PM to 8 PM.  Visit the Mann House in Concord, Michigan during the holidays and receive a free Christmas ornament for your tree while supplies last.  This year’s ornament celebrates the arrival of the Mann sister’s driving horse Jenny!! The sisters loved their horse who arrived in her stable on December 28, 1903!  A Christmas horse!  Jenny took the sisters to visit family, friends and to check on their farm on the Mann Road near Concord! 205 Hanover Road, Concord.

Polar Express Family Night. Join us on December 11th for the FREE Polar Express Family Night!  Taking place from 5-6:30 PM at Northwest Early Elementary School. You can take pictures with Santa, make an ornament, enjoy cookies and hot cocoa, and sing along to Christmas carols!  3735 Lansing Avenue, Jackson.

Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Display.  An experience like no other! Nite Lites is a five-mile long holiday lights drive through experience, running every day through Jan 5, 2025.   Drive Thru tickets can also be purchased at the gate.  Train tickets must be purchased online in advance.  Sun – Thurs 5:30pm – 9:00pm, Fri – Sat  5:30pm – 10:00pm.  $35 Per Car.  Michigan International Speedway US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn, Michigan.Ticket Booth is 15 minute drive off of US 12 Entrances Gate 8 Or Gate 14 thru our spectacular Pre Show.  WEST bound – use Gate 8 Entrance.  EAST bound – use Graves Farm Entrance Gate 14.

Julia Child:  A Recipe for Life Exhibit.   Julia Child: A Recipe for Life, explores the key ingredients in Julia’s personal journey, which became part of America’s culinary revolution, through a series of immersive experiences. Julia’s insatiable curiosity and tenacious spirit drove her to endlessly try, test, and teach how to make delicious food. Learning empowered Julia and she in turn empowered others, profoundly transforming American cuisine and food culture.  Now through January 12 at Ella Sharp Museum.

LGBTQIA+ Panel Discussion & Luncheon.  11 AM to 1 PM.   Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bert Walker Hall, Room 145, Jackson College Central Campus. Come listen and learn how Jackson College can create a more inclusive and open campus for LGBTQIA+ staff and students, come listen to our panelist on how we can support students of all backgrounds.
