The Grass Lake Warriors Softball team won their pre-district contest against Onsted 10-5. After defeating the Wildcats, the Warriors now advance to district play at noon on Saturday against Manchester.

The Grass Lake Softball team won their pre-district contest against Onsted 10-5. An early lead gave the Warriors the momentum that they needed for a victory.
Kaysey Cook was on the mound for the Warriors. She allowed 4 hits, 5 runs and struck out 10 while only walking 1, per grasslakewarriors.com. Offensively, the Warriors dominated the game with a total of 10 hits including back-to-back home runs by Dana Peterson (3 runs) and Chance Macomber (solo) in the second inning. Macomber lead the offense by going 4-for-4 in the game.
After defeating the Wildcats, the Warriors now advance to district play at noon this Saturday (June 1st) against Manchester.
