(June 11, 2021 12:00 PM) The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County.  As of 12:00 PM today, there are 14,690 positive cases (cumulative), and 282 deaths (cumulative)*.    

There is 1 new case since yesterday’s report.

As of June 9, there are 3 persons at Henry Ford Allegiance Health being treated as inpatients for COVID-19. 

Jackson County Vaccination Coverage:  51.9% of Jackson County residents 12 and older have received first dose, 46.5% fully vaccinated (Moderna or Pfizer both doses, J&J single dose).

Today, Michigan reached 60% of the population age 16 and older receiving at least a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

The cumulative numbers posted on Mondays include the data from Sunday and Monday.  Recovered numbers are being posted as received. 

The Michigan Department of Corrections is reporting as of 8 AM June 7, there are 5,588 confirmed positive cases at Jackson facilities and 710 confirmed positive staff cases.  MDOC positive case numbers are cumulative.

*These numbers do not reflect any cases or deaths identified through Michigan Department of Corrections.  Their numbers are listed under a separate category and reported by the state at Michigan Statistics.

**Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
