Concord 4, Britton-Deerfield 3: The Yellowjackets scored three times in the first inning and held on for the home win. Dustin Hamilton finished with two hits and two RBIs for CHS.
Concord 14, Athens 0: Concord finished 2-0 on the day with an easy win over Athens. Carter Arbuckle hit a home run and knocked in two runs and Dustin Hamilton finished with two hits and three RBIs for Concord. Lane Blossom finished with three hits, and Levi Raymond, Jordan Mendellin, and Lucas Tyler each finished with two hits for CHS.
Hanover-Horton 10, Madison 4: The Comets exploded for eight runs in the third inning to break open a close game. Jack Wooster finished with two hits and an RBI and Luke Soper tallied one hit and two RBIs for Hanover-Horton.
Charlotte 6, Hanover-Horton 3: Luke Soper finished with two hits and Cameron Sherwood had two RBIs for the Comets.

Columbia Central 11, Napoleon 1: The Golden Eagles improved to 6-0 by winning the Napoleon Invitational Saturday. CCHS defeated Napoleon 11-1 in the opening game as Ryan Hammond held Napoleon to two hits in the game also striking out eight batters. Blake Hoskins and Noah Dankert each had two hits in the contest. Christian Nykamp and Lucas Hankis recorded hits for Napoleon.
Columbia Central 15, Stockbridge 0: Blake Hoskins limited the Panthers to two hits in the win at the Napoleon Invitational. Blake Hoskins finished with two hits and an RBI for the Golden Eagles.
Western 11, Grayling 0: The bats came alive for the Panthers at St. Johns High School Saturday. Alex Trudell finished with three hits and three RBIs for Western. Jack La Porte also finished with two hits and two RBIs. Brody Parrott earned the pitching win combining with Braden Leightner for the no-hitter.
St. Johns 12, Western 11: St. Johns scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the win. Jake Luke finished with three hits and four RBIs for Western. Brody Parrett had two hits and knocked in three runs and Jack La Porte added two hits and two RBIs.
Lumen Christi 2, Macomb Lutheran North 0: Timmy Crowley earned the pitching win with 4.1 innings pitched and five strikeouts. Gabe King pitched the other 2.2 innings striking out five hitters and giving up only one hit in the process. Brodie Gregory and Paul Sattler each had a pair of hits for LCCHS.
Macomb Lutheran North 2, Lumen Christi 1: The Titans could only muster six hits in the game led by Nathan Hinkey with two hits and one RBI.
Grass Lake 7, Northwest 6: The Warriors scored three times in the third inning and took a 4-0 lead at that point. Avin Sandoval recorded two hits and Jacob Collins knocked in two run for Grass Lake. Carter Fairley and Doug Putnam each had a pair of hits for Northwest.
Gaylord 8, Northwest 5: Gaylord scored three times in the fourth inning to overtake the Mounties. Northwest could only garner three hits in the contest by Alex Thrun, Lincoln Keathley, and Douglas Putnam.
Gaylord 12, Grass Lake 0: The Warriors suffered its first loss of the season during a round robin tournament against Gaylord and Northwest. Gaylord scored 12 times in the fifth inning to break open a scoreless game. The Warriors could only muster five hits in the contest.

Concord 17, Addison 2: The Yellowjackets defeated Addison and Stockbridge during a round robin tournament at home Saturday. Madisyn Barrett finished with two hits for Concord in the victory.
Concord 6, Stockbridge 4: Concord scored two runs in the fifth inning to pull ahead in the contest. Madisyn Barrett finished with two hits and two RBIs and Riley Adams earned the pitching with striking out nine batters.
Northwest 1, South Lyon East 0: Lucy Bivens earned the pitching with for Northwest striking out five batters in the process.
Northwest 12, Lakeview 2: Ava Golightly and Kendra Glaza finished with a pair of hits each for Northwest in the win. Izzy Rogers recorded three RBIs for the Mounties in the win at Brighton.
Northwest 18, Lincoln 6: Ava Golightly finished with three hits leading NWHS to the win. Morgan Sellers finished with two hits and four RBIs for Northwest.
Northwest 14, Garden City 4: The Mounties went 4-0 on the day at Brighton. Madi Dixon drove in five runs on four hits to lead Northwest. Ava Golightly finished with three hits for Northwest (6-2).
Hanover-Horton 15, Dansville 0: The Comets put up an eight-spot in the second inning for the win. Alexyn DuBois pitched a no-hitter striking out eight of the 13 batters faces. Dani Riggs and Halle Swihart each hit home runs in the contest and Dubois finished with four hits for Hanover-Horton.
Negaunee 6, Hanover-Horton 1: The Comets lost in the final of the Chris Brian Tournament at home Saturday. They were limited to five hits in the contest.
Quincy 5, Lumen Christi 3: The Titans could only register five hits in the contest led by Emily Rogers with one hit and two RBIs. Bella Wrozek struck out 11 batters in the contest.
Lumen Christi 19, Lox Norrix 0: Lily Ganton finished with three hits and four RBIs to lead the Titans. Codi Ruge and Bella Wrozek each finished with two hits and three RBIs for Lumen Christi at the Marshall Invitational. Bree Okoniewski pitched a two-hitter for the Titans.

Springport 13, Napoleon 1: The Spartans scored 12 runs in its last two at bats in the opening round of the Napoleon Invitational. Morgan Shoemaker and Devan Lowe finished with two hits and two RBIs and Jordan Reed collected two hits and three RBIs for the Spartans. Shoemaker earned the pitching win striking out eight batters in five innings. Hayden Rendall finished with one hit and an RBI for the Pirates.
Springport 6, Madison 2: Springport scored three times in the sixth inning to break open a 3-2 contest. Chloey Speer finished with two hits and an RBI for the Spartans.
Madison 14, Napoleon 4: Napoleon jumped out to a 4-0 lead but that is all they would score in the final game of the Napoleon Invitational. Hayden Rendall and Haven Marker each had a pair of hits for the Pirates.
Boys Track and field
Warrior Invitational: Springport High School finished third (87), Grass Lake was fifth (47.25), and Michigan Center sixth (44.75) at the 50th annual event at Grass Lake. Ckyler Jones of Springport won the 200-meter dash (24.82), Travis Collins of Michigan Center won the 400-meter dash (52.65), Eli Dyer of Springport on the 110-meter hurdles (16.36) and the 300-meter hurdles (42.8), and Nate Pettit of Grass Lake won the pole vault (11-6).
Girls Track and Field
Warrior Invitational: Grass Lake High School finished fifth (66) and Springport was ninth (30) at GLHS. Ashleigh Simon won the 100-meter dash (13.76), and Grace Bullock won the 200-meter dash (28.42) for the Warriors. Mya Viegelahn won the high jump for Grass Lake (5-2) and Kaylee Kopulus of Springport finished second in the discus (96-10.5)

Girls Tennis
Northwest at Coldwater Invitational: The Mounties lost 5-3 to Coldwater and 7-1 to Three Rivers.
Western at Holland Invitational: The Panthers went 2-1 on the day with wins over state ranked Holland Christian (5-3) and Vicksburg (7-2). Highlights for the day were No. 2 doubles Gabi Davis/Leslie Kinder and No. 5 doubles Bertha Quiroga/Addie Zeller who both went undefeated. Western lost 7-2 to Ada Forest Hills Eastern.
College Athletic Events
Baseball

Jackson College 10, St. Clair County 0: The offense got healthy with a pair of 10-0 wins at home Saturday. Mitchell Smith finished with four hits and three RBIs. Jared Kramp and Harry Major both finished with two hits for JC. Kramp hit a home run for the Jets. Ethan Ianni earned the win striking out seven batters in 4.1 innings.
Jackson College 10, St. Clair County 0: Marcus Patton finished with two hits and three RBIs and Logan Christophel added two hits and an RBI from the eighth batting spot. Nathan Tappenden allowed two hits and struck out four to earn the win. The Jets are now 16-14 overall for the season with the win. JC travels to St. Clair County Community College Sunday for a make up doubleheader.
Mt. Vernon 10, Spring Arbor 7: Ryan Gonzalez and Jake Spedoske each knocked in three runs for the Cougars.
Spring Arbor 4, Mt. Vernon 1: The Cougars earned the split taking game two. Ryan Gonzalez had a double and knocked in two runs and Jake Spedoske tallied two hits for SAU.
Softball
Mt. Vernon 4, Spring Arbor 0: The Cougars were held to three hits in the contest.
Mt. Vernon 4, Spring Arbor 3: SAU was swept on the road Saturday at Mt. Vernon. Emmalee Hamp finished with three hits and Grace Lentz knocked in two runs for Spring Arbor.
Track and field
Spring Arbor Men, Women at Jack Shaw Invitational: Chase Hobson won the 10,000-meter steeplechase for SAU in 9 minutes, 49 seconds; Camden Khon won the 1,500-meter in 3:56; Jared Wallace won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.47; Caden Kyser won the 400-meter dash in 51.08; Isaiah Romeyn took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54; Juan Pache was the winner in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.21 seconds; and Josiah Fitch won the shot put with a toss of 47-2.5 and the hammer throw in 172-10.
