Concord 7, Bronson 4: The Yellowjackets scored five times in the first two innings at home Tuesday. Carter Arbuckle earned the win giving up only four hits and striking out six batters in five innings. Jordan Medellin and Levi Raymond each collected two hits and an RBI for Concord.
Bronson 3, Concord 1: The game was called in the sixth inning with Bronson leading. Dustin Hamilton finished with two hits and an RBI for Concord.
East Jackson 15, Lansing Eastern 5: The Trojans won its first two games of the season at home against Lansing Eastern. Caleb Weaver finished with two hits and knocked in four runs for EJHS. Jake Saunders also tallied two hits and three RBIs for the Trojans.
East Jackson 11, Lansing Eastern 0: Jake Saunders earned the pitching win striking out 14 batters and teaming with Hunter Vickers for a no-hitter. K.J. Oliver finished with two hits and two RBIs for EJHS.
Lumen Christi 2, A.A. Gabriel Richard 1: Gabe King pitched a seven-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a complete game for the Titans. King and Colin Wilson knocked in runs for LCCHS.
Lumen Christi 8, AA. Gabriel Richard 2: Kash Kalahar was the hitting hero with three hits and two RBIs in the win. J.J. Brown earned the pitching win giving up only three hits, striking out six batters, in six innings pitched.

Chelsea 11, Northwest 1: The Mounties could only muster a pair of hits in five innings against Chelsea.
Northwest 8, Chelsea 8: The game was called after five innings with the two teams tied. Garrett Waldron drove in two runs and Carter Fairley finished with two hits for Northwest.
Maple Valley 13, Springport 3: Maple Valley scored seven runs in the sixth inning to finish off the game Hunter Miller was the hitting hero for Springport with two hits and two RBIs.
Maple Valley 11, Springport 1: Jake Kregel recorded the only hits for the Spartans in the loss.
Lakeview 15, Western 0: The Panthers struggled in its opening series of the 2024 season. Western recorded only two hits – one each by Alex Trudell and Cody Spitzer.
Lakeview 14, Western 0: Jack La Porte had one hit – including a double – for western in the loss.
Softball
Bronson 21, Concord 0: The Yellowjackets finished with two hits in the Big Eight Conference battle at home. Riley Adams and Gabriella Herzberg each finished with hits for Concord.
Bronson 16, Concord 1: Jordyan Metcalf finished with one hit and an RBI for Concord.
Springport 17, Maple Valley 0: Morgan Shoemaker, Chloey Speer, and Rebekkah Betz each had two hits in the Big Eight Conference win. Springport improved to 5-1 on the season with two wins.
Springport 18, Maple Valley 1: The Spartans scored 18 runs with only two hits and 24 walks by Maple Valley. Jordan Reed had one hit and knocked in a run for the Spartans.
Marian 7, Lumen Christi 6: Marian scored six times in the sixth inning to pull out the victory. Bree Okoniewski and Mallory Arcaro each finished with one hit and an RBI and Lily Ganton tallied two hits for the Titans.
Lumen Christi 17, Marian 0: Allison O’Dowd hit a grand slam to lead the offensive explosion for LCCHS. Lily Ganton finished with two hits and Bella Wrozek earned the pitching win striking out six batters in three innings.
Lakeview 11, Western 1: Kenadee Golas had a pair of hits for Western in the road loss.
Lakeview 10, Western 0: Nicole Wilson finished with the only hit of the game for Western.
Boys Track and Field

Western 111, Hanover-Horton 46: Josh Veneziano won the high jump (6-6) and the 300-meter hurdles (40.88 seconds) for Western. Graham Gumper won the long jump (19-5.5) for the Comets. Western 102, Hanover-Horton 52: Cami Boldt won the 100-meter hurdles (19.41) and the 300-meter hurdles (55.25) and Addison Singleton won the discus (90-4) and the shot put (30-10) for Western. Kayda Herrick also won the high jump (4-10) and the long jump (13-7) for the Panthers. Ida 3, Jackson Christian 1
Michigan Center 2, Coldwater 2: Cecelia Scaife had two goals, one assisted by McKynley Gaddy and the other by Sophia Allen for MCHS. Abbie Hess had 12 saves in net for the Cardinals.
Boys Golf
Springport, Concord at Quincy jamboree: Springport finished third with 200 and Concord posted only two scores at Quincy. Brody Baum led Springport with 39 and Max Argumedo finished with 49. Concord was led by Lleyton Bauman with a 54.
Northwest at Onsted Quad: The Mounties earned a 26-stroke win at Devils Lake Golf Course. Ryan Stevens finished with an even-par 36, J.J. Miller carded a 38, Kamryn Banks shot 39, and Cody Rowe finished with a 41 for NWHS.
Chelsea 161, Western 162: Hayden Kim finished with a 39, Gibson French carded a 40, Eric Bonser shot a 41, and Eli Herrington finished with a 42 for Western at Calderon Golf Club. Chelsea was led by Brian Tillman with a 38.
Girls Tennis
Northwest 6, Jackson 2: The Mounties earned its first win of the season with a home victory over Jackson. The two teams split the singles competitions as Hollis Rumler of NW won 6-3 and 6-3 at No. 1 singles; teammate Emma Flynn won 6-4 and 6-2 at No. 2 singles; Jackson came back as Ingrid Hesslau won at No. 3 singles 6-4 and 7-5; and Olivia Jones won 6-2 and 6-2 for the Vikings at No. 4 singles. Northwest swept the doubles competitions giving up only eight points in the process.

Softball
Spring Arbor 8, Taylor 0: Emmalee Hamp with the hero again hitting a home run and finishing with three hits and an RBI for Spring Arbor. On the mound she struck out nine batters in five innings pitched. Summer Ambler tallied two hits and an RBI for SAU.
Spring Arbor 6, Taylor 4: The Cougars improved to 25-12 on the season with the home sweep over Taylor. SAU scored five times in its last two at bats to pull out the win. Grace Lentz led the hitting attack with three hits and one RBI.
