Track and Field
Jackson at Lincoln Invitational: Kyson Cooper of Jackson High School finished second in the 60-meter dash in 7.1 seconds at the Lincoln Athletic Building SEC indoor track meet. Cyron Stamper of JHS placed fourth in the 60-meter high hurdles in 8.96 seconds. In the girls’ event, Shanie Mohead of JHS finished fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.5 seconds. Everette Drummond of Jackson finished second in the 200-meter dash in 28.01 and third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.

Baseball
Goshen 8, Spring Arbor 5: The Cougars scored four runs in the eighth inning but could not get any closer. Connor Dee hit a home run and finished with four RBIs for SAU.
Spring Arbor 13, Goshen 4: The Cougars improved to 8-17 on the season with the win. SAU scored six times in the seventh inning to close out the win. Connor Dee collected three more hits and Aiden Brunin, Ben Redfield, Ryan Gonzalez, and Jaeden Rodriguez each collected a pair of hits for SAU.
Jackson College 5, St. Clair CCC 4: Jared Kramp, Hayden Lowe, and Caden Oliver each collected two hits for JC in the nine-inning win. A sacrifice by Max Bowers gave Jackson a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning. Luke Micunek earned the pitching win giving up only two hits in four innings and Lucas Dawson collected the save for JC (9-11).
Softball
Lansing CC 13, Jackson College 0: Camryn Mackenzie recorded two of the Jets’ five hits in the home contest.
Lansing CC 5, Jackson College 1: Ashley Sturgill finished with two hits for Jackson College (4-6).

Women’s Bowling
Spring Arbor at NAIA National Championships: The Cougars fell 4-3 in the opening round of the NAIA Bowling National Championships at Sterling Heights. SAU rolled a 244 Baker game in the match against Midway at the national championship Thursday. SAU plays in the consolation match Friday at 10 a.m. in an elimination contest.
