Northwest 3, Hastings 2: The Mounties pulled out the match with a 15-8 win in game five. Addison Moore finished with eight kills and four aces, Lucy Bivens and Avery Redmond both finished with 11 kills, and Morgan Brooks tallied 13 kills and 16 digs for Northwest.

Western 3, Marshall 2: The Panthers lost the first two games 27-25 and 28-26, but stormed back to win the last three pulling out the victory. Bayli Stewart finished with 17 kills, J.J. Lewis tallied 29 digs, and Becca Brushaber dished 26 assists for Western.

Hanover-Horton at Napoleon Quad: The Comets defeated Napoleon in three sets and Manchester in four in the Cascades Conference quad. Chelsea Russ finished with 20 kills and 37 digs on the night. Brynn deGlee tallied 15 kills and four aces against Manchester, and Molly added 49 assists for Hanover-Horton.

Boys Soccer

Grass Lake 2, Columbia Central 1: The Golden Eagles fell out of first place in the Cascades Conference with the loss.

Manchester 5, Michigan Center 2: The Cardinals lost in Cascades Conference play at home Wednesday night. Kaden Leighton and Spencer Berkeypile each scored for the Cardinals. Henry Wright had nine saves in goal for MCHS. Manchester takes over first place in the league with the victory.

Girls Golf

East Jackson Invitational: Logan Bentley of Columbia Central High School and Anna McCubbins of Napoleon finished second and third, respectively. Bentley finished with an even-par 72 at Calderone Golf Club and McCubbins finished with a 74. Three-time defending state champion Mia Melendez of Ann Arbor Greenhills finished the event with a 4-under-par 68. Columbia Central finished fourth as a team (389), Concord was eighth (430), Northwest placed 10th (442), Lumen Christi was 12th (450), Western finished 13th (465), Napoleon shot 468 for 14th place, East Jackson was 15th (472), and Grass Lake finished 16th (541). Chelsea 8, Northwest 0: The Mounties fell to Chelsea at home Wednesday. Nathan Cumings lost a tough 7-6, 7-5 match at No. 3 singles for the Mounties.
