Concord 58, Vermontville Maple Valley 34: Concord officially clinched the Big 8 title tonight with the road win. Junior Bradie Lehman scored 26 points including reaching the 1,000 career points mark, and Cieara Barrett added 21 points. Concord is now 12-0 in the Big 8, and 18-1 overall.

 

Columbia Central 54, Stockbridge 24: Gabby Gaydosh led the Golden Eagles with 19 points. CC is now 17-2 and extends their winning streak to 11 games.

 

Michigan Center 70, East Jackson 10: Mayrese Vieau led the Cardinals with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals in the Cascades-East road win. Alliyah Moore added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Ella Best scored 11 points. MC has now won 9 of their last 10 games and is 17-3 overall.

MHSAA HOCKEY REGIONALS

DIVISION 1 at Wings Event Center (Kalamazoo)

Jackson United 4, Kalamazoo United 3: JU survives and advances their opening playoff game on Wednesday night. Brennan Forward led the way with 3 goals, and goalie Jonah Hughes earned the victory. Jackson will face DeWitt in the Division 1 Regional Final next Wednesday (2/25) at the Wings Event Center.

MHSAA BOWLING REGIONALS

DIVISION 3 at Royal Scot Lanes (Lansing): In the boys regional meet, Grass Lake finished in 3rd place and just misses the cut for the state finals as a team. Napoleon took 7th place and Michigan Center in 9th place. On the girls side, Grass Lake continued its success as they finished as the regional champion in first place. Michigan Center took 2nd place as both the Cardinals and the Warriors will advance to the 2026 state finals.

 

DIVISION 4 at JAX60: The Vandercook Lake boys squad just snuck by Lumen Christi to finish 2nd as a team and qualify for the D4 state finals next week. Thankfully for the Titans, the girls squad won the regional title and will head to the finals. East Jackson placed in 2nd as the Trojans will continue their season.
