A system passing south of Michigan is expected to bring some showers to the area late this afternoon into early tonight.  There will  then be a break in the rainfall during the morning hours of  Saturday. A storm from the southern plains will bring rain back  into the area by Saturday evening then rain with scattered thunderstorms is expected into Monday morning.

Today:  Mostly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight:  Rain showers likely in the evening, then a chance of rain showers overnight. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph becoming north overnight. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Saturday:  A chance of rain showers until midday, then rain showers likely in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent.
