MDOT Construction Begins on US 127 South and Intersection of M-50/US-12 Next Week

(August 21, 2021 9:20 AM)  The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close one lane of US 127 from Liberty Road to Ayers Road for resurfacing. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a traffic signal during daytime hours. An alternate route is advised.

MDOT also announced it is replacing the Neery drain culverts at the US-12/M-50 intersection.  US-12 and M-50 will both have single-lane closures in each direction at the intersection. An alternate route is advised.  This work will result in better drainage that will help protect both of these roadways. Closing lanes during this type of work is necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists.

Both projects are scheduled to begin at 7 AM on Tuesday, August 24.
