A strong cold front associated with this system will push eastward through Lower Michigan tonight. An unseasonably mild airmass with showers and even a few thunderstorms will exist ahead of the front while a cold airmass will move in behind it. Lake effect snow showers will be on the increase as we go into the middle part of the week.
