Temperatures will finally moderate a bit and nudge up closer to normal  for mid week through the weekend. A system passing south of the state will bring a chance of rain from late Wednesday into Thursday.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy. Patchy frost overnight. Lows in the lower 40s. Light winds.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny. A 20 percent chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
