Low pressure will track across Lake Superior over the weekend with a secondary low moving just south of Lower Michigan. This will bring a round of showers today and tonight and some thunderstorms across southern Lower Michigan on Sunday. Fair and colder weather moves in for much of next week.

Today:  A chance of rain showers until midday, then rain showers in the afternoon. Highs around 50. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tonight:  Rain showers in the evening, then a chance of rain showers overnight. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Sunday:  Rain showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms until midday, then rain showers with thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Sunday Night:  Rain showers with thunderstorms likely in the evening, then a chance of rain showers overnight. Lows in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Monday:  Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. North winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts to around 20 mph.
