Our slow moving storm system will continue to sink to the southeast through the day today. This will allow for scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms to continue into this afternoon. Highs will mostly be between 75 and 80. Tonight we will see see mostly cloudy skies and only a slight chance of showers. Those showers, if they happen would be from the moisture from the east coast system that may be pulled as far back as west Michigan tonight. This will result in holding the cloud cover in the area into Tuesday morning before a cold front comes through and clears it all away. With more sunshine it will actually be warmer in the afternoon behind the cold front than ahead of it. Highs should be in the mid 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. Another stronger cold front comes through late Wednesday or early Thursday. There only a low chance of showers with passage of that cold front. Expect mostly sunny skies and slightly cooler weather Friday and Saturday.
