(3-17-2026, 9:15PM): The last two remaining girls basketball teams from our area hit the hardwood on Tuesday night, in the Division 3 and 4 quarterfinals. One team survived and advances to the schools first ever Final Four appearance, while one fell short.
Division 3 at Ypsilanti Lincoln
Jackson Lumen Christi 64, Plymouth Christian Academy 32: After struggling to make shots and just a seven point lead at halftime, the Titans dominated the second half to win a quarterfinal game after falling in the QF round last season. Lucy Wrozek led the Titans with 18 points, leading an all-around team contribution with 9 different players scoring. Ruby Boyce and Kenna Hunt each added 11 points. Clara Groen led Plymouth Christian with 20 points. Lumen Christi advances to its first ever Final Four. They will face Niles Brandywine in the Division 3 semifinals on Thursday, the game is set for 2pm at Michigan State University.
Division 4 at Mason
Portland St. Patrick 29, Concord 21: After defeating the Shamrocks in the Regional Final last year, Portland avenged their loss and eliminated the Yellowjackets at Mason on Tuesday night, advancing to the Division 4 state semifinals. Bradie Lehman led Concord with 11 points. Concord finishes the season at 24-3 with a third straight district title, and back-to-back regional titles. Portland St. Patrick will face Onekama in the D4 semifinals on Thursday at 7:30pm.
