Trice Announced as New Vikings Baseball Coach

(8-4-2025, 1:10PM): Jackson High School has announced Shanear Trice as the new Head Varsity Baseball Coach for the Jackson Vikings. A proud Viking alum, Coach Trice brings experience, leadership, and a passion for building champions on and off the field.

Trice was formerly the JHS JV Coach. Trice was a 3-year varsity standout basketball player for the Vikings and later played for Kellogg Community College and Adrian College. He is also an MHSAA official.

Trice takes over the job for Chris Hoover, who is now the new Jackson Public Schools athletic director following the retirement of Greg Marsh.
