MCCU Hosts Car Endurance Competition

Michigan Community Credit Union has partnered with area car dealers, including Extreme Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and Seymour Ford Lincoln to bring a special event: "Contact with the Car". Twelve contestants will have the chance to win up to $20,000.00 to have their auto loan or lease paid off. The event starts Friday, August 28, 2015, at 8:00 am in front of Extreme Doge on Seymour Rd in Jackson. This competition event requires that the contestants stand, surround, and touch a car, and the last one standing will win the grand prize. They will be granted a ten minute break every four hours. Family and friends of the contestants are encouraged to attend and cheer the participants on. For a full list of rules and details, please visit contactwiththecar.com. Contestants were entered by purchasing a vehicle at one of the featured dealers, and financed through Michigan Community Credit Union, or leased, during the qualification period of August 1 through August 22, 2015. Tournament of Champions Modern Waste 13  Jaxtown Bombers 12.  (8 innings)  Modern Waste won in the bottom of the 8th when Anthony Hayes drove in Derek Anspaugh.  Anspaugh went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs; R.J.
