"From Headliners...With Love" 40th Anniversary Celebration with food, entertainment, and incredible fashion. starts at 7:00 P.M. Tickets are $25.  Entertainment includes DJ Mike Holiday and The Jackson Dance Company.  Mat's Cafe & Catering will be providing hors d’oeuvres.   Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.    Trinity Lutheran Church will host its annual Harvest Festival Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 2nd. The dinner will run from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM and the cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 11, and free for children under 5.  This year’s menu will feature roasted pork and sauerkraut, real mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade applesauce, bread and butter, fresh-baked pumpkin or apple pie, and assorted beverages.  Take out will be a available.  In addition to the meal, a variety of baked goods and boxed greeting cards will be on sale.  Proceeds from the event will benefit projects and mission related efforts of Trinity's Ladies Aid Society and Cotta Missionary Guild.  Trinity Lutheran Church, 122 West Wesley Street, Jackson. Our active fall weather pattern continues, with several chances for additional rainfall over the next week. However temperatures will be a bit warmer than the last few days, averaging near to above normal. We have not seen the sun in awhile and we will have have a decent shot of that on Friday when high pressure briefly impacts the state in between systems. Today:  Cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Tonight:  Rain showers. Lows in the lower 40s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph becoming southwest overnight. Gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100 percent. Thursday:  A chance of rain showers until midday, then rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent. Thursday Night:  Rain showers in the evening, then a chance of rain showers overnight. Lows in the lower 40s. West winds 5 to 10 mph becoming north overnight. Chance of rain 90 percent. Annual Fall Book Sale and Bake Sale at the Meijer Branch of the Jackson District Library.  Presented by the Friends of the Meijer Branch Library.  November 1 through November 4.  Wednesday & Thursday hours are 9 AM to 7:30 PM.  Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday hours are 9 AM to 3 PM.  Saturday all items are $1 a bag.  There will be material for all ages.     Summit Evening Book Group at the Summit Branch, Jackson District Library.  Join us on Wednesday, November 1 at 6 p.m. as we discuss Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson.
