Opioid Crisis Workshop Fundraiser for The Concord School Linked Health Center.  Drs. Bailey and Heins, Henry Ford Allegiance physicians dedicated to research and education of the public regarding the opioid crisis, will share information about the crisis, addiction, causes, treatment, and harm reduction from community perspectives. Winds will become southerly in advance of a cold front today and tonight. The south winds will bring in slightly warmer air and rain. Jackson College Winter Film Series.  Explore filmmaking and enjoy movies from classic to contemporary with Jackson College’s 42nd Annual Winter Film Series.  The Winter Film Series is held annually at the Michigan Theatre in downtown Jackson as part of the College’s English 210 Films as Literature class. Community members are welcome. Films begin at 7:15 p.m. on Mondays; cost $5 per person.  Tonight:   “Pleasantville”. Yoga at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library every Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Jeanette Lamphere teaches this yoga class. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults. Family Story Time at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.  Join us  every Monday at 6 PM for stories, crafts and more. Intended for ages 0-7 and their families. State Representative for the 64th District Julie Alexander will be holding office hours at the Jackson County Tower Building, 120 West Michigan Avenue, First Floor.  Hours are 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.  All are welcome.
