Women’s History Month Film Series at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library. Each documentary in this six-part series examines the impact of the women’s movement on six fields once largely closed to women. Directed by some of the country’s leading independent filmmakers, MAKERS brings to life new and unforgettable stories that every woman, man, girl and boy should know. Kids Create Preschool Experience Open House and Registration Event. Meet with one of our instructors, and learn about this wonderful program. Trip to state finals highlighted Carroll’s season and his nod as JTV Sports Coach of the Year

It had only been a couple days since the 2018 playoff run came to a close when Northwest girls basketball coach Ryan Carroll was asked to describe what the journey was like. He laughed. “I really don’t know how to explain it,” he said simply. “I don’t know if validation is the word, but when you look back at the time and effort that goes into this, for seven years we’ve kind of been building off the previous year and set our goals even higher.” Carroll orchestrated the most successful season in program history this winter, taking the Mounties to the Class B state finals.
