Al Glick and Jim Harbaugh at 2018 Camp. JTV Photo. The Al Glick Youth Football Camp is a one-day event for children from Jackson County entering 4th to 9th grade in the fall. Instruction provided by current & former NCAA & NFL athletes as well as area high schools. Camp Founder, Al Glick, developed a life-long passion for the sport of football at a young age. As a business owner. Al often looks to the lessons football teaches about the teamwork that is required to perform successfully at a high level. “My family has always been into sports. I got involved with football more than any other sport and in my mind, football is a great learning experience for life. You learn about teamwork, communications, working together, and you build life-long friends out of football.” The football camp is Al’s way of paying it forward to the next generation and inspiring them to participate, become fans, and learn from this great sport. New this year is the Jackson County Celebration of Football, which precedes the camp. Details on the Camp and the Celebration of Football here.
