Rain Showers and Blustery

It will feel very fall like today with blustery winds and temperatures only rising to highs around 50 degrees. A deep fall storm will be centered over the Straits of Mackinac today which will sweep colder air in from the west today and tonight. Lake enhanced rain showers will sweep across the area with another inch of rain expected in spots on already saturated ground. Flooding of low lying spots and along smaller streams and creeks can be expected the next few days. The rain will taper off late tonight and Wednesday with dry weather forecast on Thursday. Today:  Rain showers. Highs in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent. Tonight:  Rain showers. Lows around 40. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent. Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain showers. Highs in the upper 40s. West winds 5 to 15 mph. Spring Arbor University Music Department presents Invitational Choral Festival featuring Spring Arbor University’s chamber Choir & University Singers.  Guest choirs from Lumen Christi and Northwest High Schools.  Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church Sanctuary.  7 PM.   Admission:  Donation accepted at the end of the concert.
