CNB Announces Return of Craig S. Connor as President and CEO

(May 18, 2022 11:52 AM) CNB Community Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of County National Bank, today announced that the combined Boards of CNB and the parent company have appointed Craig S. Connor as interim President and CEO, a position that Mr. Connor previously held for 15 years prior to his retirement in 2019.  Mr. Connor comes back to these roles after the departure of John R. Waldron.  Mr. Waldron, had been with the company for 20 years, and served as a Senior Lender and, recently, as President and CEO.  Mr. Connor, who is also Chairman of the Board for CNB and the Company, stated, “John was a large part of our growth over his time here.  He was at the helm for some turbulent times in banking, and the world.  We appreciate John’s efforts in guiding the bank through those times and truly wish him the best as he moves forward.  Furthermore, we remain committed to sustaining our deep commitment to the community and to our tradition of excellence in all aspects of banking.  Finally, CNB will maintain our commitment to providing outstanding service for our customers and solid financial performance for our shareholders as our bank continues to…

Lassiter Announces Departure as Henry Ford Health CEO Henry Ford Health President and CEO Wright L. Lassiter III this week announced that he will be leaving his role as the head of the health system in late July to assume the CEO role at Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the U.S. After conversations with the Henry Ford Health Board of Directors and senior leadership team, Lassiter shared the news with Henry Ford’s 33,000 team members in a personal note. “It has truly been one of the great honors of my life to lead the incredibly relentless, resilient, innovative, diverse and compassionate team that is Henry Ford Health. County National Bank Announces Promotions John R. Waldron, President and CEO of County National Bank (“CNB”), is pleased to announce the recent promotion of several members of the CNB team. Ray Briner has been promoted to Commercial Loan Officer. Ray joined County National Bank in August of 2009 and has 12 years of banking experience. He served CNB as a credit analyst and transitioned to the senior analyst position before moving into the Commercial Loan Department as a lender. Ray has served our commercial clients well, and was instrumental in assisting clients with Paycheck Protection Program loans throughout both phases of the program. R.W. Mercer Co. acquires assets of West Michigan Electrical Systems R.W. Mercer Co. has acquired the assets of long-time subcontractor West Michigan Electrical Systems Inc., the companies announced. West Michigan Electrical Systems is a full-service electrical contractor located in Cedar Springs, north of Grand Rapids. It was founded by owner Brad Kober and has served petroleum, industrial and commercial customers for over 20 years. Kober and his team will be based out of R.W.
