Homer Looks to Build Winning Habits Ahead of 2025 Campaign

(8-12-2025, 12:00PM): Following a 1-8 season, Homer is striving to reach their potential.

Nic Cass is returning for this third year with the Trojans. A player said that he is, “one of the greatest people I know.”

Key returning players include Harry Minx (WR/FS), Gavin Lewallen (QB/TE/LB), and Ashton Knapp (WR/CB).

Newcomers expected to make an impact include Kooper Manning (WR/LB) and Preston Mann (QB/LB).

Cass is the offensive coordinator. He is also bringing up last season’s JV OC, Chaz Hopkins, to improve the playbook and have a prominent role in the passing game. Cohen Sangster is entering his 2nd year as the defensive coordinator.

The Trojans goals for the 2025 campaign are to do everything necessary to win, play all 4 quarters and be mentally tough. Those will lead to them reaching their potential. They are looking to build winning habits in everything they do. “This team is tired of losing,” says Cass.
