Michigan Reports 4,992* Coronavirus Cases Today, State Total Now 502,119

(January 4, 2021 3:38 PM) Michigan reported 4,992* coronavirus (COVID-19) positive test cases today, with the state reported total now at 502,119.

Michigan is reporting 80 COVID-19-related deaths today with the state total at 12,598. 

*Note on cases (01/04/21): Today’s daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDSS since Saturday, January 2nd.  Over the two days, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new confirmed cases is 2,496 per day.
