JTV and Experience Jackson introduce a new feature on JTV.TV and The Bart Hawley Show:  "Today in the J"!  With so many events and activities in our community, now you have a daily rundown of the day's events posted each day here and on The Bart Hawley Show. The 16th Annual Jackson Blues Fest kicks off at the Jackson County Airport tonight for three days of great blues music, food, drink and fun.  Tonight, the festivities begin at 6pm and runs through 11pm.  Admission is $5 (Veterans free).  Tonight's lineup:  6pm to 7:45pm Mike Epsy Group;  8pm to 9:30pm Monsieur Guillaume & His Zydeco Hepcats;  9:45pm to 11pm Brandon Santini.   Ella's Patio Parties continue every Thursday evening.  Tonight, Bob Schultz provides the entertainment.  Admission is free for members, $5 for non-members.  Complementary snacks and a cash bar.  5:30pm to 7:30pm on the patio at Ella Sharp Museum. Staying Dry

Mainly dry weather is expected from today through Friday across the area. An isolated shower is possible this afternoon, but most areas will remain dry. High pressure will be in control of our weather tonight into Thursday night and will be responsible for the dry conditions. Friday a warm front will be developing to our southwest with better chances for showers and storms as we head into Saturday. After below normal temperatures today, with highs in the 60s, we will return to the 70s for Thursday and Friday. Today:  Partly sunny. Isolated rain showers in the afternoon. Highs around 70.
