A low pressure system strengthening near Green Bay this morning will track northeast through the day. Lots of clouds and showers along with gusty winds will accompany the passage of this system. An area of high pressure in the western plains states will build east today and Saturday. As a result...mainly dry conditions are forecasted for the area on Saturday. Robinson Road Construction Project to Begin on Monday
The Jackson County Department of Transportation is continuing several scheduled projects over the next few days and beginning the Robinson Road reconstruction project next week. Construction is scheduled to begin on Robinson Road on Monday,August 7, 2017. The road will be open to local traffic only between Kibby Road and Spring Arbor Road.This project is expected to be completed in several weeks. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours, and to seek alternate routes. The Department will close Slayton Road between South Sandstone Road and Bunting Road, on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. The road will be closed to through traffic to replace a cross road culvert, and is expected to be opened by the end of the day, weather permitting. No detour route will be posted, and motorists should seek an alternate route.
