The Carnegie Branch of the Jackson District Library invites you to an Eclipse-tastic Viewing Party.  It’s solar eclipse time! Join us today from 12:30 PM to 3 PM to view it with your own pair of viewing glasses, while enjoying the celestial strumming of Sandra Place. This program is co-sponsored by the Peter F. Hurst Planetarium. Thank you to Miller Shoe Parlor for providing materials. All ages welcome. Total Eclipse of the Hops Viewing Party at Grand River Brewery.  In commemoration of this once in a lifetime cosmic happening Grand River Brewery is offering some once in a lifetime specials for those who choose to watch with us.  From 1:03PM-3:47PM on the patio:  -1/2 Off Apps. -1/2 Off beer, wine and cocktails.  We will also be celebrating the triumphant return of our legendarily popular Bloody Knuckles Blood Orange IPA!  **EYE PROTECTION ADVISED**  Once the sky goes back to normal don't forget that we now have $2.50 pints of beer in our beer garden till 7 o' clock! High pressure will bring one more day of fair weather then chances for showers and thunderstorms increase early in the week. A slow moving cold front will bring periodic showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday, followed by several days of dry and comfortable weather as Canadian high pressure gradually settles into the region. Yesterday’s high temperature in Jackson was 76 at 2:23 PM.  The low was 63 at 9:19 PM.
