The Kiwanis Winter Kids Series presents "Despicable Me 3”.   Show Times are 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Doors open for the 1st screening at 10:30 A.M. and for the 2nd screening Doors open at 1:30 P.M.   Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson. Eastern Movie Matinees with Reese Witherspoon.  Join us for some great films all month long. Widescreen, comfortable seats and popcorn too! WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 12 NOON EST TODAY.  Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect wind chills to range from 10 below zero to 20 below zero. Cold temperatures with wind chill values near -15 degrees this morning and closer to -20 degrees tomorrow morning. Little of any snow is expected. It also seems we will see some snow Sunday and a significant warm up Sunday into Monday before another arctic cold front brings more cold air back to the area. Painted Inspirations Stones at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.  Wednesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m., promote random acts of kindness by painting inspirational stones and leaving them around Jackson.  All materials are provided, but registration is required.
