A low pressure system strengthening near Green Bay this morning will track northeast through the day. Lots of clouds and showers along with gusty winds will accompany the passage of this system. An area of high pressure in the western plains states will build east today and Saturday. As a result...mainly dry conditions are forecasted for the area on Saturday. An unseasonably strong low pressure system will track eastward through the Great Lakes region tonight through Friday. Numerous showers and even some thunderstorms will accompany the passage of this system. The warm and humid airmass will give way to a cooler airmass as the system passes off to the east. Scattered Showers Developing

A weakening cold front will drop down from the northwest today and into Lower Michigan where it will dissipate. This system will trigger some scattered showers and thunderstorms. A deepening low pressure system will move in from the west Thursday into Friday.  Numerous showers and thunderstorms will accompany the passage of this storm. A weak area of high pressure over the Central Appalachians will draw up increasing amounts of moisture into the region today through Wednesday The atmosphere will become warm and unstable.
